The Public Health Research Center (CISP) organizes, on March 26 2021, another edition of the Public Health Research Seminars, dedicated to the theme “Fostering Hospital Resilience to Disasters: Lessons from Nepal“, with Maria Moitinho de Almeida.
Maria Moitinho de Almeida is a Medical Doctor, Master of Public Health in Disasters, PhD in Public Health Sciences, research associate at UCLouvain’s Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters (CRED). Has been working for more than 5 years on research on disaster public health and management, with experience in Nepal, India, and Mozambique, among others. Her major interests are to improve health service resilience to disasters and infectious disease prevention and control in humanitarian settings.
The seminar will be held in English, through the Zoom platform. The event is free, but online registration is needed.
