A delegation from NOVA National School of Public Health Health, led by the it’s Dean Sónia Dias, traveled last week to Karachi, Pakistan where they met with leaders from Aga Khan University (AKU), namely from AKU Medical College and AKU School of Nursing and Midwifery.
This international mission represents an important opportunity to explore and strengthen collaboration in the areas of teaching and research in Public Health, through the sharing of knowledge and experiences between the institutions, aiming to develop this area in both regions.
The comprehensive and constructive dialog established between AKU and NOVA NSPH allowed the identification of common visions and objectives, as well as the discussion of future collaborations in mutual areas and interests, reinforcing the importance of international cooperation to respond to complex public health challenges at a global level.
