To celebrate the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, the NOVA National School of Public Health (NOVA NSPH) organizes the session “Health for All: a look at the inclusion of LGBTQIA+ in health services” on May 17, 2024, starting at 3pm in the Coriolano Ferreira Auditorium (Floor 2).
Moderated by Gonçalo Figueiredo Augusto (Professor at NOVA NSPH), the session will feature Miguel Vale de Almeida (Anthropologist and Full Professor at ISCTE-IUL), Miguel Oliveira (Nurse at GAT CheckpointLX) and João Brito (Board Director at GAT).
The event is open to the whole community and aims to take a look at Portugal’s recent progress in winning rights for LGBTQIA+ and the challenges ahead, with a special focus on health services.
