Publicado a 20/10/2024

The NOVA National School of Public Health (NOVA NSPH) hosted a delegation of international counsellors from Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Ecuador, Venezuela, and Georgia. The purpose of the visit was to showcase the School’s internationalization model and highlight its academic offerings, with a special focus on opportunities for international students.

The delegation was welcomed on 18 October by Gonçalo Figueiredo Augusto, professor at NOVA NSPH and Gonçalo Mota, coordinator of Strategy and Development, who presented the School’s latest developments in education, emphasizing its mission to develop a new generation of global leaders in public health and broaden access to world-class education for students worldwide. During the visit, the counsellors explored NOVA NSPH’s areas of expertise and participated in discussions on potential academic collaborations and opportunities for talent recruitment.

This visit is part of NOVA NSPH’s strategic commitment to strengthening its global partnerships and reinforcing its role as a leader in public health education. Deepening ties with countries from diverse regions are a central aspect of NOVA NSPH’s internationalization strategy, aimed not only at diversifying the student body but also at creating new opportunities for academic and scientific collaboration.
