The international doctoral program at Global Public Health brings together four Portuguese institutions with evidence of research and training in the area of Public Health, the National School of Public Health, the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Health and Nova Medical School, of NOVA University, and the Institute of Public Health, University of Porto, to provide answer to the students’ current needs in this area.
It proposes to build and consolidate qualifications in Public Health research, providing the development of competencies for training professionals capable of conducting independent and practice-oriented research, through collaboration with local, national and international organizations and contact with the most modern research in Public Health.
With an innovative curriculum framework, the Global Public Health PhD program aims to attract students with different professional and academic backgrounds and enhance student employability.
