General overview

Capitalizing on all of NOVA NSPH's knowledge and experience in Public Health, this Master's degree gives you the opportunity to define policies and measures for the quality of workers' health in the workplace, integrate multidisciplinary teams in the implementation of occupational health practices, and also reinforce their ongoing training in the context of assessing and managing occupational and environmental risks.

 

Who is intended for

This Course offers two Specializations according to the basic training:

  • Specialization in Occupational Medicine, aimed at medical graduates
  • Specialization in Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety, aimed at graduates in the areas of health and safety

Conditions for Applying

  • The Specialization in Occupational Health, Hygiene and Safety is aimed at graduates, particularly in the areas of health and safety and related areas (among others, graduates in Nursing, Health Technologies, Environment, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Ergonomics).
  • The Specialization in Occupational Medicine is aimed exclusively at doctors (graduates in Medicine pre-Bologna or with an integrated master's degree in Medicine).
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English.
