Postgraduate in Behavioral Science for Health and Sustainability

Postgraduate in Behavioral Science for Health and Sustainability

Presentation

The Postgraduate in Behavioral Science for Health and Sustainability at the NOVA National School of Public Health prepares professionals to understand, analyse and influence behaviours that impact population health and environmental sustainability.

In a global context marked by complex challenges – such as chronic diseases, population ageing and climate change – changes in individual and collective behaviours, as well as the adoption of healthy and sustainable lifestyles, play a central role in public health solutions. Behavioural science provides the models, methods and tools needed to understand these behaviours and to design effective interventions.

This Postgraduate offers advanced training in the application of behavioural science to the design, implementation and evaluation of interventions, programmes and policies in health and sustainability. Students develop the skills needed to translate scientific evidence into practical solutions that promote behavioural change with social impact.

The course combines face-to-face and online teaching, integrating a strong practical component.

This programme will feature a wide range of national and international lecturers.

OBJECTIVES
