This month, NOVA’s interdisciplinary platform dedicated to health issues launches the second webinar in a series dedicated to health systems and policies, with the aim of promoting debate and comparative research at national and international level.

Scheduled for 18 February 2025, at 1pm, the second session is entitled ‘Health System preparedness and migrants: lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic’ and features the participation of Esperanza Diaz, doctor and director of the Pandemic Centre at the University of Bergen, Norway, and author of the book Migrant Health: A Primary Care Perspective.

Organised by NOVA Health Systems and Policies, a group of researchers from the various faculties of NOVA University Lisbon, the event will take place on the Zoom platform and requires prior registration.
