Project Management in Health: competencies, certification, standardisation, and the future
NOVA National School of Public Health (NOVA NSPH) will host a webinar on 5 November 2025, from 18:30 to 19:30, titled “Project Management in Health: competencies, certification, standardisation, and the future”, as part of the launch of the 7th edition of the Postgraduate Programme in Health Project Management.
Project management is now a cornerstone for the success of health organisations, and mastering this area provides a strategic advantage. This webinar will offer participants the opportunity to explore international trends, understand the role of professional certification and standardisation, and reflect on the future of project management in the health sector.
The session will feature leading experts driving change in the field:
Alexandra Tenera, Assistant Professor at FCT NOVA and Leader of the International ISO Project Management Group;
Inês Sampaio, NOVA NSPH Alumni and Consultant at Quattro;
Luís Marcos, President of the National Certification Committee (APOGEP);
Miguel Carvalho e Melo, President of the Portuguese Project Management Association (APOGEP).
The webinar will be moderated by Carolina Santos, NOVA NSPH Lecturer and Coordinator of the Postgraduate Programme in Health Project Management.
The event will take place online via Zoom, and participation is free, subject to prior registration.
Registered participants will receive the access link on the morning of the event and will be able to submit questions and comments via the chat, which will be managed by the moderator.
