The Students’ Association of NOVA National School of Public Health (AEENSP-NOVA), is organising another edition of the Public Health Summit on 23 September 2026. The event will take place at the Rectorate of NOVA University Lisbon, under the theme “Re:Defining the Future”.

The Public Health Summit is an annual event organised by AEENSP-NOVA, bringing together different stakeholders in health in Portugal and promoting collaboration between institutional leaders, experts, academia and policymakers.

This year’s edition proposes a reflection on the future of Public Health and on how this field can respond to the challenges of a rapidly changing context. The programme will focus on prevention, health system resilience, digital transformation, innovation and governance.

By bringing together different perspectives and areas of knowledge, the event aims to stimulate debate and collaboration around these challenges, promoting a strategic vision for the future of Public Health in Portugal. The 2026 edition therefore seeks to discuss new approaches and contribute to building a Public Health sector better prepared to respond to emerging needs.
