Invited Assistant Professor in Epidemiology and member of the Public Health Research Center.
Master's and PhD in Epidemiology from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon. PosDoc at ENSP-NOVA.
Author of more than 40 publications in indexed scientific journals and more than 200 communications at national and international congresses. His main research interests are epidemiology, economic evaluation and outcomes research. He is Global Director of Epidemiology (Real-World Evidence) at Novartis. He is a specialist in the field of Outcomes Research where he has been developing research for the last 15 years, both at academic level and in the pharmaceutical industry.
