PhD in Public Health from ENSP-NOVA, post-graduation in Hospital Administration from ENSP-NOVA and degree in Economics from Faculdade de Economia da Universidade de Coimbra.
Research interests include hospital care utilization, risk adjustment, hospital outcomes evaluation, end-of-life hospital care, and economic evaluation.
