Alexandre Lourenço
Alexandre Lourenço holds a PhD in Management from Nova School of Business & Economics, Lisbon. He is a Specialist in Hospital Administration, postgraduate in Primary Health Care Management and Master in Health Management (MSc) from the National School of Public Health.
Hospital administrator at Coimbra Hospital and University Center, having performed public functions in various institutions of the Portuguese Ministry of Health. Consultant at the World Health Organization (WHO) for the areas of financing, health systems strengthening and health services delivery. He was the President of the Portuguese Association of Hospital Administrators (2016-2022), and he is board member of the European Association of Hospital Managers and Treasurer of the European Health Management Association.

Rui Santana
Full Professor and Director of the Department of Health System Policies and Management.
He currently serves as the Deputy Director of NOVA NSPH and is a member of the Pedagogical Council, Scientific Council, and Management Council.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the European Health Management Association (EHMA).
He is a researcher at the Public Health Research Center (CISP) and the Comprehensive Health Research Centre (CHRC). His research interests include the management and financing of health organizations.
In addition to his academic activities, he has worked as a Hospital Administrator and at the company Arthur Andersen.

Joana Seringa
PhD student at the National School of Public Health, NOVA University Lisbon (NSPH NOVA). Master in Health Management, postgraduate in Control Management and Business Finance from ISEG, Digital Health from NSPH NOVA, and Artificial Intelligence from FCT-NOVA.
Currently works as an International Project Manager at NSPH NOVA and as the Project Manager of the TEF-Health project at the Local Health Unit of Coimbra.
Lectures on Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, and Integrated Care. With experience in hospital management in inpatient services, outpatient consultations, operating rooms, and at the Responsibility Center for Orthopedic Traumatology.
Her main areas of interest are digital health, artificial Intelligence, innovation in health, and organizational models.
Estudante de Doutoramento na ENSP NOVA. Mestre em Gestão de Saúde, pós-graduada em Controlo de Gestão e Finanças Empresariais pelo ISEG, em Saúde Digital pela ENSP NOVA, e em Inteligência Artificial pela FCT-NOVA.
Atualmente, desempenha funções como Gestora de Projetos Internacionais na ENSP NOVA e como Gestora de Projeto do TEF-Health na Unidade Local de Saúde de Coimbra.
Leciona nas áreas de Inteligência Artificial, Saúde Digital e Cuidados Integrados. Possui experiência em gestão hospitalar em serviços de internamento, consultas externas, blocos operatórios e no Centro de Responsabilidade de Traumatologia Ortopédica.
As suas principais áreas de interesse são saúde digital, inteligência artificial, inovação em saúde e modelos organizacionais.
