Diplomacy and Global Health Conference
The link between Health and Diplomacy has never been more relevant. In an increasingly global world, challenges require collaborative responses, based on effective diplomatic dialogues and joint strategies. It is in this context that the NOVA National School of Public Health (NOVA NSPH) and Forum Saúde XXI are organising the Diplomacy and Global Health Conference.
The event will take place on 22 January at 5.30pm in the NOVA NSPH auditorium and will bring together experts, leaders and decision-makers from different sectors to share and debate strategies and examples of how diplomacy can strengthen health systems, promote equity and help respond better to global crises.
The panel includes ambassadors António Martins da Cruz and Luís de Almeida Sampaio, Francisco Pavão, from the International Relations Coordination Department of the Ministry of Health’s General Secretariat, Adalberto Campos Fernandes, professor at NOVA NSPH, and Andreia Lima, president of Fórum Saúde XXI. NOVA NSPH dean, Sónia Dias, will open the event.
