Cláudia Nelas Almeida is a researcher in the Health Policies and Systems department. Her research focuses on the areas of care integration, financing and human resources and how these are interlinked in order to guarantee the development of organizational models and improve the quality and efficiency of care provision. She is also dedicated to studying the importance and mechanisms of strategic management in healthcare.
She teaches in the areas of care integration, human resources management, financing and health management.
She actively participates in social impact projects in the health sector by designing strategies and supporting their development, as well as in projects analyzing public policies and their impact on the health sector.
She has a law degree from NOVA Law School, a master’s degree in Law and Management from Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a specialization in Hospital Administration from the National School of Public Health.
