Survey findings on risk communication in Greece and Slovenia

The National School of Public Health of NOVA University Lisbon (NOVA NSPH) is organising a webinar within the scope of the Partnership for the Assessment of Risks from Chemicals (PARC), which will analyse the results of a study conducted in Greece and Slovenia on Risk Communication. The event will take place online via Zoom on 26 March 2025, from 10:30 to 11:30 (CET).

The webinar will be presented by Zoe Mousia, Chemical Engineer and Head of the Risk Assessment & Nutrition Directorate at the Hellenic Food Authority, and Urška Kolar, Communication Specialist at the National Institute of Public Health of Slovenia. The event is organised by Cristina Godinho, professor at NOVA NSPH.

The session will focus on the study’s findings, as well as risk communicators’ perspectives on their role in conveying information about chemicals. Key factors influencing effective risk communication, the impact of cultural differences, and areas for improvement will also be discussed.
