    The Student Association of the NOVA National School of Public Health (AEENSP NOVA) is organising the Health Re:Design Summit 2025 on May 13, an event that brings together the main health stakeholders in Portugal with the aim of promoting debate, fostering partnerships and driving innovative solutions to emerging health challenges. The programme also includes a Scientific Competition, which closes on April 7.

    The event will take place at the Rectory of NOVA University Lisbon and will be attended by Adalberto Campos Fernandes, professor at NOVA NSPH, the presidents of various Local Health Units, such as Alexandre Lourenço, Carlos Martins and Miguel Lopes, the president of the Portuguese Association of Hospital Administrators, Xavier Barreto, and the president of the Portuguese Association of Private Hospitalisation, Óscar Gaspar, among other representatives of public and private institutions and civil society, such as patient associations.

    Throughout the day, topics such as health policies, innovation, leadership and the transformation of health systems will be discussed, with the participation of experts from institutions such as the National Health Council, RDP, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, GSK, NTT Data, ANF, among others.

    The closing ceremony will be attended by the dean of NOVA NSPH, Sónia Dias, in a demonstration of institutional recognition of the importance of student participation in building a more sustainable, innovative and people-centred health sector.

    The event also includes the HRDS2025 Scientific Competition, with prizes such as publications, training courses and training vouchers, open to anyone wishing to submit innovative projects in the areas of Digital Health and Innovation, Sustainability and Health, Health Policies and Equity, Health and Technology, Health Systems Transformation and Health Literacy and Patient Engagement. The deadline for submissions is 7 April.
