The scientific publications of NOVA NSPH researchers, in their most diverse typologies, as well as their research activities, can be found on the NOVA Research Portal.

The NOVA Research Portal mirrors the research produced at NOVA University from the data related to the scientific production of the various research teams and centers.

The constant updating of the scientific production related to NOVA NSPH is ensured by the Documentation and Information Services through its registration in the Pure – Sistema de Gestão de Informação Científica da NOVA (Current Research Information System) that allows access to a wide range of indicators, such as international collaboration, adherence to Open Science, commitment to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), or the impact obtained by publications indexed in Scopus, among other complementary indicators.

    OPEN ACCESS POLICY

The Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) has adopted a new Open Access Policy, which came into effect on February 7, 2025, making it mandatory to provide open access to scientific publications resulting from research funded by the institution. The policy applies to scientific articles, books, book chapters, monographs, doctoral theses, and master’s dissertations.

The launch is accompanied by the creation of a support website designed to assist researchers in complying with the policy throughout the entire process, guiding them through the necessary steps toward Open Access publication. This page will also provide links to a set of frequently asked questions and an explanatory document on the rights retention mechanism.
