C.O.P.E. – Capabilities, Opportunities, Places and Engagement: Approach for Social Inclusion of Difficult to Reach Young People through a “Relational Proximity” Community Network is a European project funded by the European Commission under the EaSI (European Programme for Employment and Social Innovation) aimed at the social inclusion of NEETs, young people aged between 15 and 29 who are not in education, employment, or any vocational training program.
Over the next two years (January 2022 to December 2023), a consortium of 7 partners across 4 European countries (Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, and Croatia) will develop, test, implement, and evaluate an integrated intervention based on an innovative and experimental “relational proximity” community network approach for the inclusion of NEETs, in Italy and Portugal.
