    Cristiano Figueiredo is a Guest Lecturer at ENSP NOVA, responsible for the optional Primary Health Care course. His areas of interest are General Practice, Primary Health Care and Social Prescribing. She collaborates in supporting the implementation and evaluation of Social Prescribing projects, as part of the initiatives of the Social Prescribing Portugal working group.

    Cristiano Figueiredo is a family doctor and supervisor of the General Practice internship at the Baixa USF of the ACES Lisboa Central. He is the co-founder and coordinator of the first Social Prescribing project in Portugal, winner of the 2019 Sustainable Health Award – Primary Care category. He founded and coordinates other health promotion projects, namely Walk with a Doc Lisboa and the Bengalisboa Community Health Project. He is an alternate member of the USF-AN Board of Directors (2021-2024).

    He is a PhD student in Public Health, in the specialty area of Health Promotion at ENSP NOVA, has an integrated master’s degree in Medicine from NOVA Medical School and a medical specialty in General and Family Medicine from ARSLVT. He completed the EURACT Leonardo Level 1 Course for Medical Trainers at the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice.
