    The Digital Health Executive Course is an international training promoted by ENSP NOVA, in partnership with NOVA IMS and NMS, distinguished by EIT-Health (European Institute of Innovation and Technology), as a High-Quality Project.

     

    Its mission is to train healthcare professionals to develop digital transformation in their institutions, through the acquisition of skills to develop innovation and detect new Digital Health opportunities that enable new ways of working.

    With an experienced and diverse team of teachers from universities in Portugal and Spain and institutions related to Portuguese and Spanish health, the course provides a comprehensive view of Digital Health and covers topics as diverse as organizational transformation, the design of Health projects Digital, the adoption of technologies, or ethical and legal aspects.

     

    Focused on improving the quality and provision of healthcare through Digital Health, the course explores new strategies for creating and implementing successful environments in Digital Health and includes 3 immersive workshops targeted at the needs and interests of each student in the areas of Design ThinkingPatient Innovation and Digital Health Technology.

     

    At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to make a Pitch Presentation of the product/solution developed throughout the training program, with a panel of key stakeholders in the area of ​​digital health, where the winning project will gather the necessary support for the its viability.

    Digital Health also offers the possibility of attending the Strategic Leadership on Innovation specialization area. Upon successfully completing the Digital Health Executive Course and the Strategic Leadership on Innovation specialization, you will be awarded the Postgraduate certificate in Digital Health.

     

    OBJECTIVES

     

    The course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge to implement a Digital Health project. By the end of the course, students should be able to:

    • Understand the role of Digital Health;
    • Apply digital leadership knowledge;
    • Understand how thinking and co-design can impact the transformation of organizational and care processes;
    • Be capable of designing projects that involve technology and patients;
    • Identify the most important ethical, social, and regulatory aspects of digital health practice;
    • Identify digital challenges in health communication and relationships.

     

    IDEAL STUDENT

     

    This course is aimed at professionals in the healthcare and industry sectors, namely doctors, pharmacists, nurses, managers and professionals with decision-making responsibilities. The training is aimed at people with an interest in digital health, an entrepreneurial spirit and who want to innovate in their organization, do things differently and make an impact inside and outside the organization.

     

    COORDINATION AND TEACHING MODEL

     

    Each module of the program is coordinated by recognized experts in the respective area. Two modules of the course will be dedicated to immersive workshops, one in Lisbon and the other in Barcelona. Each module aims to provide a participatory and immersive teaching model.

    The course is taught in English and follows a hybrid format (online and in-person).
