As part of an application to SAMA 2020 – Support System for the Modernization and Training of Public Administration, NOVA NSPH developed the InoQPHE project – Innovation for Quality in Public Health Education, with the aim of ensuring simpler, more accessible and inclusive digital services, in order to enhance their use by all citizens. It was also sought to obtain efficiencies that would enhance cost reduction, in particular through a greater sharing of resources, making the digital transformation of NOVA NSPH sustainable.

As part of the development of NOVA SIMAQ – NOVA’s Internal Quality Monitoring and Evaluation System, the National School of Public Health began in 2018 the process of implementing its quality management system. This system is an essential tool for ensuring excellence in the activities developed at the level of teaching, research and the provision of services to the community.
Between October 2019 and February 2020, there was a work of diagnosis, redefinition and implementation of the main internal processes and procedures of NOVA NSPH. Dynamized by the Quality Planning and Management Office, it was carried out in partnership with the Institute of Welding and Quality (ISQ) and involved the entire NOVA NSPH community. In addition to the elaboration of the internal procedures manual, training actions were carried out for employees, seeking to disseminate, by all, continuous improvement practices and the adoption of a quality culture.
